Sport and Virtual Reality
My work on imagination and creativity has led me to explore these topics in the context of sport and movement-driven practices. It started with one chapter on embodied creativity in sport with Kenneth Agerholm (2019), and one paper in Synthese on enactive planning in rock climbing (2021), and these texts made me the "philosopher of embodied cognition", scoring more invitations!

Then from 2022 onwards, my senior postdoctoral project investigates the role of embodiment and imagination in Virtual Reality. This has led me to supervise two PhD students on the topic of VR (virtual rape and virtual therapies), and explore the topic of virtual play at one conference ("Playing in VR") and two workshops ("Digital art practices" and "Keeping in real in VR", all organised by me in Antwerp in 2024!
